Vuori review
The joggers are popular for a reason: the fabric is very soft and the cut is easy to wear. The returns policy is one of the most generous in activewear. Where the brand is less convincing is durability at its price, and how quickly support answers when something goes wrong.
Our take
Evidence: ModerateVuori is a good choice if comfort is the brief, and the returns policy takes most of the risk out of finding your size. Treat it as premium loungewear that can handle a workout, not as technical kit, and look after it accordingly. The complaints we found are about fabric wearing out early and slow support, not about fit.
- What works
- Very soft, stretchy DreamKnit fabric. Relaxed cuts that suit everyday wear. A 120-day return window that's well above the norm.
- What doesn't
- Priced alongside Lululemon, but recent buyer reports of fraying, pinholes and loose stitching sit uneasily with that. No direct exchanges online.
- Suits
- People who live in joggers and shorts, and want something that looks put-together outside the gym.
- Skip it if
- You want hard-wearing training gear, or you dislike synthetic fabrics against the skin.
Vuori publishes full fabric compositions and a detailed returns policy. Independent buyer feedback is split: a small, negative Trustpilot profile against a large volume of on-site product reviews, which the brand hosts and moderates. We have not tested garments. How we review
Vuori is a California activewear brand, founded in 2015, that built its following on shorts and, above all, joggers soft enough to wear all day and tidy enough to wear out of the house. The range now covers tees, hoodies, leggings and outer layers for men and women. The appeal is the same across all of it. Clothes that feel like loungewear but look like you made an effort.
That positioning explains both what people love about Vuori and what they complain about. The fabric is designed for comfort first, and the price is set against the top of the athleisure market.
Materials and construction
Vuori's core fabric, DreamKnit, is listed on its Performance Jogger product pages as 89% recycled polyester and 11% elastane, with four-way stretch and moisture-wicking finishes.
That blend accounts for the softness people describe, and also for the most common complaint. Brushed, very soft polyester knits feel lovely new but are more prone to pilling and surface wear than tighter, harder-wearing training fabrics. Elastane at 11% gives a lot of stretch, but it degrades with heat, so tumble-drying on high shortens a garment's life. None of this is unique to Vuori. It's the trade-off any brand makes when it optimizes for hand-feel.
Recent negative reviews describe fabric fraying, small pinholes, stitching coming loose after limited wear and, in a few cases, a chemical smell on new items. Positive reviewers praise the softness and the cut.
Fit and sizing
Vuori's cuts are relaxed rather than compressive: the joggers taper without clinging, and the shorts and tees are cut for everyday wear. That makes sizing more forgiving than with performance brands, where half a size changes everything. If you're between sizes and want the clothes for lounging, the larger one is usually the safer choice. For running or training, size down.
The brand's growing store network is useful here. Trying a couple of sizes in person costs less time than a return.
Returns
Vuori calls its returns policy the "Investment in Happiness". Eligible items must arrive back within 120 days of the purchase date, or 90 days if paid with Amazon Pay, for a refund to the original payment method. Items should be in original condition unless defective, although Vuori invites customers who have worn something and aren't satisfied to contact support. Sale items can be returned unless marked final sale. Original shipping isn't refunded.
There's no direct exchange: to change a size you place a new order and return the original.
On length alone, 120 days is unusually generous. Several third-party summaries still quote 30 days, which appears to be out of date, so read the brand's own help page. The lack of direct exchanges is a small but real cost, because your money is tied up twice until the refund lands.
What customers report
Vuori's Trustpilot profile is small for a brand its size, at 134 reviews when we checked, with a score of 2.1. Recent reviewers focus on product quality and slow responses from customer service.
Weigh that carefully. A hundred-odd reviews is a tiny sample for a brand with a large retail footprint, and Trustpilot attracts people with problems. The thousands of reviews on Vuori's own product pages are far more positive, but the brand hosts and moderates them. The fair reading is that most customers are happy with the feel and fit, and a meaningful minority find the durability doesn't match the price.
Pricing and value
Vuori prices its core pieces alongside Lululemon and above most mid-market athleisure. You're paying for the fabric feel, the cut and the brand. Whether that's good value depends on how you use it. As everyday clothing worn and washed gently, it holds up for many owners. As heavily used training gear it's harder to justify.
